Aston Villa are said to be growing in confidence in their pursuit of Morgan Rogers as they look to sign him in the January window.
It has been a quiet window for Aston Villa which has seen them attempt to make some form of attacking signing.
So far Unai Emery and Co. have only made one signing Kosta Nedeljkovic from Red Star Belgrade. He has since been loaned back to the Serbian outfit.
There have been plenty of links to other stars but it appears that departures are more on the cards than incoming signings.
This has seen Leander Dendoncker depart on loan and now there is a discussion revolving around Jacob Ramsey departing.
Reports of incoming signings have quietened down but Jonathan Rowe as well as a potential link to Pedro Gonçalves this week.
Now one other move appears to be moving forward with a bid now being reported for a young attacking talent.

Third Morgan Rogers bid made
There has been no doubt that Aston Villa, Emery and Monchi have made Morgan Rogers their number-one target.
It appeared as if a versatile forward was a preferred option in the January window to provide additional competition.
With that being said, in the Premier League as a whole there appears to be a lack of money being splashed on transfers. This is most likely due to FFP which has seen Everton punished and more sanctions coming.
Now Villa appear to be going all in, in a move for Rogers who will provide cover out wide and in a striker position. In a report by the Express and Star, they have suggested that the Villans have now responded to rejected bids.
On that, they said: “The latest offer is believed to be in the region of £15 million including add-ons and the club hope it will be sufficient to secure their primary January transfer target before Thursday’s deadline.”
It is clear that Middlesbrough are going to be a tough customer when it comes to letting Rogers go in this transfer window.
Given that there is a lack of time remaining in the transfer window, if this move doesn’t come off then Villa’s business might be done.
There is an excitement revolving around the potential signing of Rogers amongst Villa fans. He has plenty of ability to grow and be shaped into a top player under Emery.
It seems as if the Villans are pushing for this move and as a result it may come as a surprise if the deal doesn’t happen.
