Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery has spoken out to tell Youri Tielemans what he needs to do to start in the Premier League.
Following signing for Aston Villa over the summer, it is safe to say that Youri Tielemans has suffered a lack of minutes.
Manager Unai Emery has found a winning combination that has fired Villa to fifth in the Premier League. As a result, he has been reluctant to make changes.
With Boubacar Kamara and Douglas Luiz performing to such a high level this season, they have been an immovable force.

As a result, there have been some concerns voiced by Belgian football fans about the Villa midfielder. These have been shut down as Tielemans has said there is ‘no reason to panic‘.
What has Unai Emery said about Youri Tielemans?
The Villa boss has always been complimentary about the midfielder, but he has had a slow start to the season.
Discussing the midfielder with the Birmingham Mail, Emery was complimentary of the summer signing.
When asked what it will take for Tielemans to get a Premier League start, the manager said: “Firstly, every player who has joined us this season they have to adapt quickly in our structure. To get the characteristics of a player and to feel comfortable playing in our structure.
“One of them is Tielemans, but he is a very good player and has experience. His characteristics as a player I want to add and to try and get in our structure as well. As a player, I think he is progressively feeling better.”
With the Nottingham Forest defeat, maybe Emery will be more keen to rotate his squad on a regular basis in the Premier League.
It has to be said, against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa Conference League Tielemans was superb and is deserving of a chance.
He is clearly getting better, week after week, and it will be no time until he is making his first Premier League start for the Villa.
