Aston Villa fans around the globe are outraged after striker Jhon Duran ‘completely disrespects’ the club amid speculation about his future.
Villa fans have no doubt enjoyed the summer so far. The club have signed multiple top players with Amadou Onana becoming the most recent player to join Villa Park.
On top of this, Villa have released a sensational kit made by adidas as part of their new partnership.
However, striker Duran has now angered many of the Villa fanbase recently after he performed a gesture which was marked as ‘disrespectful’ by many.
Jhon Duran performs West Ham gesture on social media
Duran’s future at Villa has been under doubt throughout the summer. The Colombian was originally thought to be off to Chelsea earlier in the window but these rumours soon died down.
Then, West Ham began their pursuit of Duran. It is believed that Julen Lopetegui is keen to bring in the striker, however, no more has materialised yet.
Despite this, Duran has already shown his desire to join the Hammers. On Instagram Live, the Colombian performed the Irons gesture to the outrage of Villa fans.
However, some Villa fans did not understand the backlash from the Villa Park faithful.
Aston Villa need to get the deal done for Jhon Duran
The saga surrounding Duran has dragged on for far too long. Villa now need to look the sell the Colombian ASAP.
Realistically, it could be extremely bad for the dressing room if Duran was to be around when the season started, let alone beyond the transfer window.
On top of this, the £40 million the club would get for the striker could potentially fund a deal for Joao Felix who would no doubt be an upgrade for the Birmingham outfit.
Hopefully, the reason Duran has performed the gesture is because a deal is close but that does not hide how disrespectful it was.
