Aston Villa star, Douglas Luiz has been live streaming this week and has now revealed that one of his teammates is injured and likely to miss the Sheffield United game.
This week, Aston Villa will look to maintain their record-breaking home form as Sheffield United travel to face them.
With 15 wins from 15 games at Villa Park, Unai Emery will be hopeful of extending this exceptional winning run.
There have been many star performers for the Villans this campaign who have helped propel the team forward. From Emi Martinez in goal to Ollie Watkins at the opposite end, there have been many star performers.
One star who has often stood out above the rest is Douglas Luiz who has been attracting interest from sides like Arsenal. In recent weeks he has begun streaming live to his Twitch channel which many Villa fans have tuned in to.
In his most recent stream, he has made an admission that one star is set to miss out this Friday.
What has Douglas Luiz said about Pau Torres?
In his first season with the Villans, Pau Torres has been superb and has slotted into the backline seamlessly. Alongside Ezri Konsa or even Diego Carlos, the Spaniard has helped contribute to a solid partnership.

So far this season he has started all but one game since his move from Villareal and has scored two goals. He has played a part in four clean sheets but has also only ever conceded more than one in a game three times.
With that being said, it now appears that he is going to miss out against the Blades. This has been said by Luiz on his livestream. On that, posted on Twitter, the Brazilian said “Pau is injured, he is not ready for Friday.”
This will be disappointing to Villa fans as Torres has been an integral part of the side, this season. With him dropping out, who could come in to replace him?
Who should come in?
There is a decision to be made for Emery on who comes in, in place of the Spaniard. Given his form, it won’t be easy for someone to replicate him.
There is a chance that Konsa could come into centre back and Matty Cash could make back-to-back starts as right back.
The other option is for Clement Lenglet to make his first Premier League appearance for the club. His only starts this season have come in the Europa Conference League, where he has performed well.
Whatever the choice, Emery’s choice will be backed by fans and there is still plenty of hope to take three points against the Blades.
