Aston Villa transfer rumours – Moussa Diaby in ‘total agreement’ to leave
On the departure front, Villa have already been active. Unai Emery has already lost midfielder Douglas Luiz to Juventus and plenty of other star players have linked away.
Jhon Duran is one of the most prominent. The Colombian striker has been the target of a great deal of transfer speculation in recent weeks. In particular, West Ham are reportedly now looking to sign Duran.
However, Diaby now looks certain to leave Villa in the coming weeks. The Frenchman has been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia and now it seems as if a move is close to completion.
It has been reported that there is a ‘total agreement’ between Diaby and Al-Ittihad and it is only a matter of time before the move is complete.

Outrageous clause added to Jaden Philogene’s contract

Villa completed their sixth signing of the summer as they secured the return of former academy graduate Jaden Philogene.
The winger had left the Birmingham outfit less than 12 months ago in the search for regular first-team football. As a result, he joined Hull City in the Championship where he quickly impressed.
Villa activated their matching rights to re-sign Philogene on Friday, with the 22-year-old now back at Villa Park, signing a five-year deal.
However, one detail that may have gone under the radar about the transfer is a clause the club added to the winger’s contract. Philogene reportedly has a release clause valued at around €100 million.
