The summer transfer window is still far off, but that doesn’t stop rumours swirling around Aston Villa.
Only last week, Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville spoke on his desire to return to the Premier League, with Villa reportedly interested in his services.
Furthermore, there has been talk about players potentially leaving as the club looks to realign themselves with FFP regulation.

Douglas Luiz, Ollie Watkins and Boubacar Kamara are the primary names in question.
However, one Villa player has now expressed his desire to return to his former club one day.
Alex Moreno flirts with Aston Villa exit idea
Left-back Alex Moreno only joined the club last January but has spoken of his desire to return to Real Betis.
Talking to the Spanish media, he said: “It cost me a lot because I love Betis, I love the fans, I love the city, and it was a very complicated decision to make, but I’m sure that one day we will meet again.
“I know that I will live there Tomorrow. I have it very clear, and in the end, I’m sure we will meet again. I don’t miss a single match. I have the Spanish channels, so I can try to live a little day-to-day. I don’t miss a single match match.”
“As we always play at noon, I have time later to be able to see them. I follow it, I talk to many from there, and from the team, I am always there,” he added.
“I am hoping that they do very well and are fighting to enter (in European positions). Surely, in the final stretch, they will be able to achieve it with this effort and the sacrifice they are making. It is true that they were eliminated in the Conference, and it is a difficult task in that aspect, but they are waiting to see if they can qualify in Europe or the Champions League.”
These comments should be taken with a pinch of salt. Moreno has a significant role in the West Midlands over the coming seasons.
His desire to return to Spain is with the end of his career in mind. Nevertheless, Villa did see interest from AS Roma in the January window, with a £6.8million price tag slapped on the left back’s head.
