Aston Villa boss, Unai Emery has been told that Leon Bailey and Youri Tielemans may want to leave the club, should their minutes not increase.

So far this season, Aston Villa have had a superb start to the season and have had many star performers in that time.

With that being said, Unai Emery hasn’t been so keen on rotating his squad very heavily. As a result of this minutes have been hard to come by for some.

Stars like Ollie Watkins, Moussa Diaby, Douglas Luiz and Ezri Konsa have been immovable objects this campaign.

Because of their form squad players like Jhon Duran, Leon Bailey, Youri Tielemans and Diego Carlos have struggled at times.

What has been said about Leon Bailey and Youri Tielemans?

It has already been spoken about by the Belgian about his issues. But he has since suggested there is ‘no reason to panic‘ when it comes to minutes.

Speaking with Give Me Sport, Dean Jones has suggested that the midfielder, alongside Bailey, they will begin to get frustrated.

On that, he said: “So I think Leon Bailey obviously has that edge that can make a difference in a goal sense. Tielemans, you want him to help control a game.

“At the end of the day, I think that these two are going to remain to be squad players.”

So far this season, the Jamaican has become a very useful impact player but has also had a positive effect when starting.

With that being said, Jones has shared his thoughts: “I think in Emery’s head, that’s fine. That’s what he wants from them.

“Will the players be happy with that? I’m not totally sure they’ll continue to be happy with that.”

With Tielemans’ most recent comments and the happiness that Bailey seems to be playing with right now, they appear content.

They both have a place in this squad and will grow into their role more. Hopefully, they stay with the club and continue to have an impact.
