Aston Villa played out their first draw of the season as they shared the spoils thanks to a 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town.
Unai Emery will be frustrated that his Aston Villa side could not see out a win after goals from Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins saw them come back from 1-0 down after eight minutes to be 2-1 up at half-time.
Liam Delap netted his second of the game in the 72nd-minute as he sprung the offside trap before easily beating Diego Carlos before firing past Emi Martinez in the Villa goal.
Emery may feel slightly aggrieved as Ipswich captain Sam Morsy was incredibly lucky not to receive a second yellow card after a string of fouls whilst on a booking, but it was actually Ipswich who looked most likely to find a winner in the closing stages.

Phil Jones praises Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins after Ipswich draw
Villa have looked shaky defensively this season and are yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League.
Carlos was very suspect up against Delap and Emery will need to find a solution for his leaky defence.

However, the Villa boss has little to worry about regarding his attackers with Jhon Duran, Jacob Ramsey and Rogers all starting the season in fine form.
Watkins started the season slowly but has now found his shooting boots and headed home from an inch-perfect Leon Bailey cross to make it 2-1 against Ipswich.
Former Manchester United defender Phil Jones singled out the marksman for special praise on Match of the Day 2 on Sunday night, saying: “Listen, he is a real handful. He is a terrific player. He has shown that for club and country now.
“What I like about him is he can come short and offer that dynamic, but he can also get in behind. He is quite comfortable playing on the shoulder of the defender.”
Watkins will be keen to show his class for Aston Villa against Bayern Munich

Next up for Villa is a mouthwatering first home game of the Champions League against Bayern Munich.
Watkins was very unlucky to have his goal in the 3-0 win over Young Boys chalked off for handball in the opening game of the competition, but will be determined to show he can perform at the very top level.
A Villa Park clash against Bayern Munich represents the perfect opportunity to do just that, as well as show his qualities directly up against his competition for the England centre-forward spot in Harry Kane.

Emery will be delighted his chief goalscorer looks to be back to his best and he should now kick on to score on a regular basis as he did last season.
