Aston Villa will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to six games when they host Luton Town on Sunday afternoon.

Villa are coming off the back of a resounding 4-1 victory away at AZ Alkmaar on Thursday night, putting them second in their Europa Conference League group. They are behind Polish giants Legia Warszawa on goal difference.

Aston Villa last played in the Premier League on Sunday, with a comfortable 4-1 victory over West Ham United at Villa Park.

Douglas Luiz started, scoring a brace, with Paul Merson hailing him as underrated

Currently Aston Villa have four players out injured, with none of them expected to be available for selection for a while.

Alex Moreno, Jacob Ramsey, Emi Buendia and Tyrone Mings are all out.

Besides those, Villa have a fully fit squad so Emery still has plenty of options.

One change that could happen from the win against West Ham is Leon Bailey, who could start in place of Nicolo Zaniolo after an impressive performance midweek, scoring the first goal against AZ.

Youri Tielemans also put in a brilliant performance midweek, after a poor start to his life in the second city.

The £150k-a-week star was lauded as an ‘imperious force’ after his performance, but he may still miss out due to John McGinn and Boubacar Kamala’s form.

Here’s how we think Aston Villa could line up against Luton Town on Sunday afternoon.
