In a recent report, it has been suggested that Paulo Dybala has a release clause which can be activated in January. Aston Villa must take advantage and move for him.
It has been made no secret that Aston Villa are after attacking reinforcements this January transfer window.
This has seen links to Cyril Ngonge in the past week but with that move seemingly going nowhere, new targets should be considered.
It must be said that it has been a great season for Unai Emery and Co which has seen his Villa side rise up the Premier League. At the time of writing they sit in second place and have had a superb campaign.
This has also seen them progress in the Europa Conference League and the FA Cup which sees them fighting on three fronts.
With so many competitions on the go, the Villans need some additional squad depth. There are now reports suggesting a star player is available on the cheap.

Paulo Dybala available on a release clause
Paulo Dybala is a player who is well known around the world for the quality he possesses, there is no doubting that.
The Argentine currently finds himself as one of Roma’s star men. So far this season he has scored five and assisted six in just 13 games, according to FotMob.
Looking at his Fbref profile, he ranks highly when it comes to assists, shots and progressive passes per 90 minutes when compared to attacking midfielders and wingers. When compared to forwards he ranks in the 96th+ percentile for six different stats including passes and shot-creating actions.
It has been reported by Fabrizio Romano that: “The release clauses into Dybala’s Roma contract. €12m release clause active now until January 15. €12m release clause valid from July 1 to July 31. If Italian clubs trigger clause, the decision is up to Roma. If club from abroad trigger clause, decision up to Paulo.”
This release clause has excited a lot of fans of various clubs on social media in the past week. There have been no concrete links for him as of yet.
It is unclear whether or not Dybala would want a move to Villa Park. With fellow Argentina stars like Emi Martinez and Emi Buendia, he may be tempted in by a move.
Dybala would represent a great option for squad depth and for an increase in the general quality of the squad. With a deal worth £12m available, less than what Villa paid for Bertrand Traore, it is a no-brainer for the Villans.
