Aston Villa concluded another transfer deadline day on Friday with a new name entering the frame and few outgoings had at Villa Park.
The Villa has a simply marvellous window. Unai Emery has blown everyone out of the water by picking up some of Europe’s hottest talent, including the likes of Moussa Diaby, Pau Torres and Youri Tielemans.
They’ve started the Premier League off tremendously due to this – which shows all the money that was splashed in the summer appears to be paying off.
However, as deadline day finishes… did they get anyone else over the line? Here are all the incomings and outgoings for Aston Villa for deadline day 2023.
Aston Villa incomings on Deadline Day

Aston Villa had one incoming man on deadline day.
Clement Lenglet on loan was finalised, with the Frenchman joining from Barcelona on a season-long loan.
He was a very necessary signing, given the fact that Tyrone Mings has sustained an injury that keeps him out for some time.
Emery did most of his business early on in the window and was happy enough to just pick up the one player on this year’s deadline day.
Aston Villa outgoings on Deadline Day

Deadline day saw two players leave Villa Park – one permanently and one on loan.
The first to depart was Chisom Afoka, who left for Bradford City in League 2. The 19-year-old will spend the 2023/24 season at the University of Bradford Stadium where he’ll obtain some much-needed first-team experience.
The second sale was striker Keinan Davis, who joined Italian side Udinese for an undisclosed fee.
Udinese were in need of a striker after the departure of Beto to Everton – and they identified Davis as their man.
A somewhat underwhelming deadline day, but a mightily successful window all things considered.
