Keinan Davis is set to leave Aston Villa this summer.
As reported by Darren Witcoop, writing on his Twitter page, Aston Villa are open to moving on Keinan Davis this summer, with the player having been made available for either a loan move or permanent departure.
Several Championship clubs have already shown an interest in Davis. However, the costs of securing his services could prove prohibitive for many.
The striker has had a couple of loan stints away from Villa Park in recent seasons. Initially, he joined Nottingham Forest in the Championship for the second half of the 2021/22 campaign, and scored five times to help the club on their way to promotion.
The 25-year-old spent the entirety of last season with Watford, again in the second tier. Davis was a regular for the Hornets, and managed seven goals for the club.

Davis departing is best for everyone
Davis has proven his ability to make an impact in the Championship, but he certainly has no real future with Aston Villa. Having come through the club’s academy, he has made 87 appearances for the Midlands outfit across all competitions, but has managed just seven goals in that time.
He is a hard worker, with good physical attributes, but Davis simply can’t cut it at the highest level. For the sake of his own career, he needs to find another club where he can settle in for the long-term. From Villa’s perspective, with the club targeting new attackers and aiming to progress further after a brilliant finish to last season under Unai Emery, they will be keen to shed passengers like Davis.
