Aston Villa have now been told how much money they will have to part with should they want to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea this month.

The transfer window appeared to be changing for Aston Villa as they changed tact and made moves for younger starlets.

This appears to be as Unai Emery looks to add a youthful look to his already flourishing Villa side which sits in fourth spot.

With links to Morgan Rogers gathering attention in the past week, it is clear that an attacking option is being considered.

It must be said that Ollie Watkins has had a superb season and he may benefit from some additional competition. Now there have been links to a striker option who could certainly improve the Villa squad for the run-in.

Villa given Armando Broja asking price

There have been plenty of forward options linked to Villa over recent weeks. These include Artem Dovbyk who has scored prolifically in LaLiga.

In the past week, it had been reported by The Standard that the Villans were interested in Armando Broja. They are one of many Premier League teams that want to sign him either in January or potentially in the summer.

Now an asking price has been set by Chelsea which may see the Villans be interested in signing him. This is especially true if they sell Jhon Duran.

On this, Ben Jacobs has reported saying: “Chelsea willing to listen to offers for Armando Broja this week. Wolves and Fulham both prefer a loan. West Ham and Aston Villa can’t be discounted. Still understand £35m+ is the number Chelsea will consider. Not easy to get a sale this window.”

The level of side that are also interested in signing the Albanian would potentially see Villa lead the race for his signature.

This deal will almost certainly hinge on Duran and his potential move away from the club. Given that he signed for the Villans for £18m they would certainly demand close to that.

With that being said, given that Chelsea, AC Milan and West Ham are interested, accruing that fee is certainly possible.

It is due to the punishments surrounding FFP that clubs are becoming more cautious at signing players in January. With that being said, it may be difficult to bring Broja in and then let go of Duran in the winter window.

There is no doubt that Broja would be a great signing as a point of difference to Watkins. At that fee, it may a difficult deal to get over the line.
