Aston Villa have recalled youngster Lamare Bogarde from his loan spell with Bristol Rovers. Now it appears another loan away is on the cards for him.
It has been a regular occurrence under the management of Unai Emery that Aston Villa loan and sell young academy players.
Just this season has seen Finn Azaz loaned, and now sold, as well as Jaden Philogene being let go permanently.
Although these are seemingly done for FFP reasons, sometimes Villa fans have been left disappointed by these sales. With that being said there is one young starlet that has been loaned out and has now been recalled. Although it does seem he is moving to another loan destination.
Reason behind Lamare Bogarde loan cancelation
It has been reported by Bristol Live the reason behind his loan spell with The Gas being cut short this January winter.
On that, they said: “Bogarde is heading back to Villa Park after an unsuccessful second stint at the Mem having failed to make an impression on new manager Matt Taylor.

“The plan was always for Villa to recall the teenager in January to then send him out to a Championship club for the second half of the campaign to test himself at a higher level.”
With all that being said, it does make sense for Villa to get him out of League One and allow him to continue his development elsewhere. It now appears there is a move already on the cards for Bogarde this winter.
Scotland move now on the cards
With him being recalled by the Villans, it appears that a move away from Villa Park for the rest of the season is likely.
It has been reported by Aberdeen Live that Bogarde’s move to ‘a higher level’ is looking like it could be in the SPFL.
They have reported: “Aberdeen are keen on taking Dutchman Bogarde on loan for the remainder of the season.
“However, the same source also reports that Aberdeen will face competition from Sunderland for Bogarde’s signature, with Black Cats boss Michael Beale a keen admirer of the player.”
The young Dutchman is likely to get more game time in the SPFL but getting minutes in a young Black Cats side could be useful. This is made especially better by the fact that Bogarde has worked with Beale at Villa in the past.
Wherever his next move is, he is likely to gain some minutes and further his career. Hopefully, this sees him return to B6 next season as a better player.
