It has been reported that Aston Villa scouts have been in attendance at Brondby as they potentially eye Mathias Kvistgaarden.
It had been reported earlier this week that Aston Villa had been looking into the Danish league for the January transfer window.
With that Unai Emery’s side is in the market this winter for some attacking reinforcements.
So far they have been linked to multiple players with Nicolai Vallys the prior name from Denmark to be suggested.
Today another Brondby star has been linked to the Villains amongst a host of other clubs.
Who is Mathias Kvistgaarden?
Mathias Kvistgaarden is a 21-year old attacker who can play in a whole host of positions across the forward line.
He made his debut for Brondby in 2021/22 and has gone on to be one of their most effective attacking players.

Since then he has gone on to score 19 goals and assist 17 across 75 appearances for The Boys from Vestegnen.
He is well known for his explosive pace, his ability on the ball and his coolness in front of goal considering his age.
Alongside the aforementioned Vallys, they have helped to form a devastating forward line that sits in second place in the league.
It has been reported by Tipsbladet that the Villains are one of many teams to have scouts watching Brondby recently.
Should Aston Villa sign him?
One thing that the Villains don’t have a lot of is pace. That is one thing that that Kvistgaarden has in spades.
Given his youth, he could be a player that becomes a regular in no time. It is about time Aston Villa made some cheap signing that becomes worth a lot of money.
Looking at Brighton and the likes, this is the kind of signing they will make and sell on in many seasons for a huge price.
With the Dane being said to cost £4 million potentially, it is a bargain price which poses little risk to the Villains.
Both Vallys and Kvistgaarden should be signed at the same time, loaned back to Denmark and be ready for next season.
This would create a good relationship between clubs, keep the players happy and allow Villa to bring in two top talents.
