Diaby set for medical

According to Mail Online, Diaby is set to undergo a medical with Villa in the coming days ahead of his move.

Fabrizio Romano explained yesterday evening that Diaby had picked Villa and the move was done. With Premier League football being a huge driving force behind his decision.

Diaby now looks set to join Pau Torres and Youri Tielemans as Villa’s third new signing this summer.

A real statement signing from the Villians which suits European football perfectly.

When might he make his debut

Given that the squad are currently on tour in the USA, Diaby’s debut is likely not anytime soon.

He will almost certainly miss Sunday’s friendly against Newcastle in Philadelphia, but could make the trip in time for next Wednesday’s game in Florida against Fulham.

An exciting times for Villa fans with a huge incoming which demonstrates huge ambition for the season ahead under Unai Emery.
