Aston Villa striker, Jhon Duran has now made an admission about his career prospects but it doesn’t appear that Villa are part of that.
There has been no secrecy regarding Aston Villa and their desire to bring in some attacking reinforcements.
It has been a great season for the Villans there is no doubt about that with them currently sitting in third place.
With that being said there have been some complaints in recent weeks as Unai Emery’s side have struggled against a low block.
A hard-fought win over Burnley and draws to Sheffield United and Everton have gone to show this exact point.

Although incomings are what is needed, there is one player who is looking like leaving more than anything else. Now they have come out regarding their future.
Jhon Duran on Chelsea and AC Milan links
A report from Nathan Gissing, this week, has suggested that Chelsea are showing an interest in signing Duran this month.
Add to this links that have suggested that AC Milan are interested in signing the Colombian on loan in January.
According to FotMob, he has only played 174 minutes across 14 matches this season. In that time he has scored two goals including his wonder goal against Crystal Palace.
This lack of regular minutes has sparked a potential issue within the camp and seen rumours of Duran leaving the club.
With all the rumours swirling around, there has now been a statement from the 20-year old. This in an interview with Pipe Sierra.
Duran said: “I have my head in Aston Villa. I am not aware of interests in AC Milan or Chelsea. They are giant clubs and it would be a pleasure, but I have no knowledge of anything. As a child, you dream of playing there.”
It is safe to say that this message from the striker won’t please Villa fans as he suggested his dreams lie elsewhere. Although they are two huge clubs, he doesn’t have to make a point of pointing towards any moves.
Considering that he signed for the club for £18m it is disappointing that he hasn’t really kicked on. He is very raw and has yet to show much if any, consistency this season.
There wouldn’t be much complaint from the Villa faithful should Duran leave the club. Not because he hasn’t got potential but because his attitude seems off. He needs to earn his place and not just expect it to be given to him.
