Aaron Ramsey has spoken out about his move to Burnley, speaking to his brother, Jacob, before deciding on a move.
Ramsey joined Burnley this transfer window gone for a fee in the region of £12 million.
The England youth international became the Clarets’ 13th summer signing, signing a five-year contract at Turf Moor.
He spent 12 years at Villa Park, including three loan spells away from the club.
The most impressive of his spells came at Middlesborough where he was involved in six goals in 11 games.
As part of the England Under-19s, he won the European Championships last year, even scoring in the final against Israel.

It must have been a difficult challenge for the 20-year old to leave a club he has been at for over 11 years.
Also leaving his brothers Jacob and Cole, who are both still with the Villains.
The chance to secure regular first team football was something that the midfielder couldn’t turn down.
When discussing his family, he said: “We’re a tight family and we’re a sport driven family.
“Me and my eldest brother are trying to get to the highest level we can and we’ve obviously got a younger one that’s trying to do the same as well.”
Obviously Jacob is one of the Villains most important players and Cole is coming through the academy.
When milling over a move, he asked his elder brother: “My older brother was one of the first people I went to because he’s obviously where he is at the moment.
“He’s the easiest one I can ask for advice and what he thinks, so I got his approval.”
Ramsey knows that he has to get a move for his career.
“He 100 per cent thinks it’s the right thing to do to play in the Premier League, you can’t turn it down can you.”
When discussing the chance of Premier League football, he said: “It’s the best league in the world, so to hopefully get the chance to play.
“Being a Premier League player is one thing, but I want to get as many goals, assists, as many appearances and see where we can take the club.”
It is sad for Villa fans to see him leave but it is clear that he has a drive to play as many games as he can in the top league.
With a buy back clause in his contract, he may be back at Villa Park soon.
