With the return of the Premier League close, Cameron Archer has been named among five potential breakout stars for the upcoming year.
The 21-year-old Aston Villa forward enjoyed a huge breakout year while on-loan at Middlesbrough last season.
Archer demonstrated his immense talented under Michael Carrick as he helped fire them to a play-off finish.
Upon his return to Villa Park, it was unknown whether he would attain Unai Emery’s approval to stay or if another loan was going to be needed.
Archer will likely act as Ollie Watkins’ striking partner either next to the 27-year-old or his deputy from the bench.
Archer also impressed while featuring for England in the Under-21 Euros in which he scored the opening goal of the winning campaign.
He will be hopeful of adding to his previous eight Premier League appearances this season and could even get the chance on a European stage.

Archer named as a potential star
Archer clearly has many excited, even neutrals as the BBC have named him on their list of the five best potential breakout stars for the season.
Coming in alongside names like Kobbie Mainoo and James Trafford, Archer is in sublime company.
Archer is on the list however through merit, as he has arrived back from Boro following a rampant season at Riverside.
He scored 11 goals in 20 games for Boro which was huge in their impressive season display.
Having spent the summer on the preseason tour in which we think he impressed, he has likely played his way into contention for a starting spot.
With his young age it is likely that he takes some time to adjust to the increased level, but given that time, he could be a special talent.
