Jack Grealish started his career with Aston Villa before making a record-breaking move to Manchester City. In spite of all he won, he had admitted Villa was his dream.
The England international played a key role last season, as the Cityzens won the treble, but growing up this wasn’t the dream.
Grealish joined Manchester City in a record-breaking move and after a slow start, became one of the most important players under Pep Guardiola.

What has Jack Grealish said?
Some players have dreams of winning it all but for the lad from Solihull, playing for his boyhood club was the end goal.
On that, he said: “Listen, since I was a kid, honestly, and I’ve said this to a lot of people, my dream was just to always play for Aston Villa.”
Grealish began his career with the world at his feet but wasn’t without controversy. Following relegation, he found his feet in the Championship and became the player we all know today.

As a result of this, he became one of the most hyped players in the Premier League. This saw his ambitions change: “My dream was to always play for Aston Villa, and then once I’d played for Aston Villa it was like, to become a regular.
“Then once I was a regular, it was like, right, to get into the England squad.”
Every goal he has set for himself, he has achieved, just going to show how driven he is.
Ironically, Grealish’s debut was against his current employers and it didn’t go particularly well.
On his Villa debut, he said: “The first time I did that professionally in the Premier League, obviously against Man City, we got battered by them about 4-0.”
One of the best players to come out of Villa Park and yet he is still so down to earth about his boyhood club and his dream.
