Colombia manager, Nestor Lorenzo believes that Jhon Duran should be playing more often for Aston Villa.
Duran was called up to the Colombian national team for their World Cup qualification matches against Uruguay and Ecuador.
Speaking to AS before his side’s first game, Lorenzo has admitted he would like to see Duran play more often for the Villains.

What has Nestor Lorenzo said about Jhon Duran?
Duran has had a good start to the season, getting amongst the goals under Unai Emery.
With that being said, he isn’t being rushed into playing too much by the Spaniard. He is raw and needs to break in slowly.
The Colombia boss feels his versatility serves him well: “When he plays on the right, he is a player you like because he plays inwards more than outwards.
“He is a player who can play in either position.”
In Emery’s 4-4-2 system, he has played as a central striker but also as the wider forward which he suits just as well.
Discussing his game time, his national coach said: “At Aston Villa, he has a lot of competition, a lot of players in his position.
“He is not playing as much as he deserves, I hope he becomes a starter soon.”
Should he play more for Aston Villa?
Right now, no.
Ollie Watkins has hit his stride and looks unstoppable, so he is going to take some shifting.
Duran possesses pace, power and unpredictability which makes him extremely effective off the bench, like against Crystal Palace.

When he has been given the chance to start games, he hasn’t taken his chance to impress, which has let him down.
He did manage to get a goal in a start against Legia Warsaw but in a dower team performance.
His other goals have come off of the bench. For now is the best thing for him to do right now, in order to develop.
