Aston Villa fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of their new kits ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Having adorned kits made by Castore last season, Aston Villa have upgraded to Adidas for the new campaign after signing a multi-year deal at the end of May.
Whilst Villa fans have seen the club’s players and staff sporting the new Adidas training gear following the return to pre-season training, there has been no sign of the new kits.
With Villa taking on Walsall on Wednesday night in their first friendly ahead of the new season, they are currently kit-less.
Given the change in manufacturer, Villa will not be able to wear last season’s kits so are expected to have to play in training kits.
This is far from ideal, but President of Business Operations Chris Heck has provided an update that will leave fans very excited.

Chris Heck confirms new Adidas Aston Villa kits to be released soon
With so much excitement generated from the club qualifying for the Champions League, as well as a deal with one of the world’s biggest sportswear brands, Villa fans are expected to purchase the new kit in their droves.
Given his business-related role this will be to the delight of Heck, but fans cannot buy a kit that has not been released.
The Villa faithful have had to wait longer than most to see their new kit, but an update provided by Heck at the end of last month hints that they will not have to be patient much longer.
“The kits, we started with the kit design as soon as we completed the agreement with adidas,” Heck explained on VillaTV. “That kit design usually takes 18 to 24 months.
“We are a little bit behind and we have a lot of people working very hard to accomplish our goals and have them ready.”
Heck then went on to confirm: “We expect to launch the home kit in the first few days after the Euros and then on-sale will follow after.”
Aston Villa fans will hope new kits are worth the wait

New kits are one of the first things fans look forward to ahead of a new season and, given Villa’s deal with Adidas, this has become even more exciting for Villans.
The deal is a great bit of business for the club, with Adidas paying a reported £17 million a year to be Villa’s kit supplier.
The training wear looks very smart and it would be a massive surprise if the kit is any different.
With the club rebrand that has been ongoing since 2022, fans will see a new crest on the Adidas kits, as well as a new front of shirt sponsor in Betano.
With all this change, Villa fans will be hoping the one thing that doesn’t change is the club’s progress on the pitch.
