In a post on social media this week, Aston Villa fans have been asked of their favourite moment of the season so far. This has sparked many various conversations and suggestions.
It has been nothing short of a great season for Aston Villa which sees them in the hunt for a Champions League spot.
The work that Unai Emery has done to transform the Villans has been superb and doesn’t show signs of slowing down.
There have been many a memorable moment throughout the season which Villa fans are already reminiscing about. That can be thrashing wins over Brighton and West Ham, or even as recent as an FA Cup third-round win over Middlesbrough.

With that being said, a question has now been asked which has led to plenty of conversation amongst fans.
Aston Villa fan’s favourite moment
This week has seen Aston Villa’s official Twitter account push the question: “What has your been your favourite moment so far from our 2023/24 campaign?” (Typo on their part…)
It is safe to say that this prompted a various number of replies but there were many games which stood out in particular.
The AVFC Faithful chose Leon Bailey and his goal in the famous win over Manchester City. This was as he drove forward cut back and found his deflected effort find the back of the net.
This certainly sparked some great scenes in the stands of Villa Park. The game itself was something to remember as Pep Guardiola’s side were completely dominated. Although Villa never got another goal, they certainly deserved the win.
This was followed up just days later by a hard-fought win over fellow title rivals, Arsenal. This is what Villanshub chose as his best moment.
This goal from the Villa captain has seriously gone under the radar from the wider public as it was a superb passing move. From back to front in no time to take the lead was a great moment in time.
The goal from John McGinn saw Villa take six points from games over Man City and the Gunners within a week. A memorable time to be a fan of the club, of that there is no doubt.
In a complete curve ball, this fan went for Jhon Duran and his first goal for Aston Villa in the 4-0 over Everton.
A very random edition but just goes to show how many different memorable moments have been had this season.
