Aston Villa head to Luton Town on Saturday evening, looking to make it three Premier League wins on the spin.
Unai Emery’s side are coming off wins over Fulham and Nottingham Forest, six points that have cemented the Villans’ position in the top four.
The Spaniard has had unprecedented injury issues to contend with this season but has been boosted over the past week.

“I can never remember a time like this,” he told The Daily Mail. “It’s not an excuse. When injuries happen, I always accept it, but this is the worst.”
However, Ezri Konsa and Pau Torres’ return to action has proven to be a big positive for the Aston Villa boss heading into the business end of the season.
Konsa has missed four matches after spraining his knee during the Villans’ 5-0 win over Sheffield United.
Torres returned against Fulham after spending months out of first-team proceedings. Yet, the 27-year-old was forced off against Nottingham Forest in his second game back.
Emery has since confirmed that the defender will be in the squad for the trip to Kenilworth Road.
“I include them in the squad for tomorrow, but I don’t know if they will start,” he told Birmingham Live.
“I will speak to them tomorrow morning and ask how they feel for a very important match. There will be a lot of duels, and it is a demanding match.”
Calum Chambers could be set for first 2023/24 start
With uncertainty over Konsa and Torres, Calum Chambers could be set for his first start of the Premier League season.
The Express and Star report that the Villa boss is set to speak to the injured pair before deciding how much of a role they will play on Saturday evening.
This has led to Chambers now “poised” to make his first start of the Premier League season.
The 29-year-old deserves credit for performing when called upon. It was only a matter of weeks ago the defender was close to leaving Villa Park, with West Brom close to agreeing a deadline day deal.
With Villa’s injury problems, Chambers has suddenly become an essential part of the squad heading into another busy part of the season.
