Aston Villa must seek to offer three Aston Villa stars new contracts after Morgan Rogers was tied down to a new long-term deal.
It has been a busy international break for the Villains. Many of their stars competed in the latest round of fixtures to various levels of success.
Unfortunately, stars such as Amadou Onana and Pau Torres were sent home with injuries.
However, on a positive note, Rogers was given his England debut after an eye-catching run of form.
As a result, Rogers signed a new Villa contract on Tuesday, confirming his long-term commitment to the club.
Now, Villa need to seek the signatures of three of its most valued players to ensure their careers at Villa Park aren’t coming to an end anytime soon.
John McGinn

The Aston Villa captain has been at the forefront of the club’s rise over the past few years. After joining the club in the Championship, John McGinn has seen the Birmingham outfit rise to the Champions League, all while being a vital player.
Recently, McGinn has shined for Scotland after he netted in consecutive Nations League matches.
However, there is no guarantee that his long-term future will see him remain at Villa Park.
As it stands, the Scotsman’s contract will expire in 2027, meaning that he only has two and a half years left.
While McGinn is now 30 years old, he has shown multiple signs that he will still be able to play at the top for many years.
Youri Tielemans

Arguably Villa’s player of the season so far, Youri Tielemans has been outstanding for the Villains.
The Belgian international has stepped up since Douglas Luiz left the club for Juventus in the summer.
Tielemans has stood above many of his Villa teammates to ensure the club are in the battle for European football once more.
However, the midfielder only has two and a half years left on his deal which could attract potential suitors in the summer.
In order to deter any clubs from pursuing Tielemans, Villa must offer the Belgian a new deal to ensure his long-term future.
Lucas Digne

Another highly-experienced player, Lucas Digne has continued to age like fine wine in a Claret and Blue shirt.
So far this campaign, Digne has been one of Villa’s top five performers thanks to his consistency on the pitch.
On top of this, the left-back has been showcasing his talents on the international stage. Digne was highly praised for his performance against Italy as he picked up two assists.
Therefore, it would be safe to say that many of the Villa Park faithful would want to see their in-form full-back at the club for the foreseeable future. However, there is a risk that Digne could leave sooner rather than later.
Digne’s contract is set to expire in 2026, an issue that needs to be resolved quickly. While the Frenchman is also in his 30s, his ability has shown no signs of deterioration.
