Aston Villa could net another £85 million this transfer window thanks to Unai Emery’s genius.
Despite PSR fears at the start of 2024, Villa are set to make plenty of money throughout 2024.
The club have already seen Douglas Luiz depart for Juventus and could yet see Jhon Duran and Moussa Diaby leave Villa for big fees.
On top of this Villa are expected to earn millions in the Champions League later this year after their qualification.
However, Emery could be set to earn another £85 million due to the form of one player under his reign.
Chelsea must pay £85 million to secure Ollie Watkins this summer

Watkins has been magnificent since the Spaniard came to Villa Park. While the striker was always good in the Premier League – under the guidance of Emery he has taken his ability to the next level.
His 27 goals in all competitions last campaign helped the club reach the Europa Conference League semi-finals as well as qualify for the Champions League.
This form then saw him selected in the England squad for the 2024 Euros where Watkins netted a fantastic late winner against the Netherlands in the semi-finals.
As a result, the striker is now highly regarded in the footballing world with one club looking to secure his signature this summer.
Chelsea are believed to be pursuing Watkins this summer as they look to reinforce their options up top. However, if Villa were to consider letting their star man go, the Blues must pay a heavy price.
It is believed that Villa values Watkins at around £85.7 million following his form. The striker only signed a new five-year contract last season meaning that the Birmingham outfit are in a great position to demand a high fee.
Chelsea are hoping that England teammate Cole Palmer can convince Watkins to move to the capital side and turn the tide in the saga.
Aston Villa should avoid selling Watkins this summer – even for a big fee

If a bid does come in for around £85 million this summer, Villa must reject it. The club would massively struggle to replace the striker this summer and with a big campaign coming up, Emery cannot take the risk.
This season is a chance to prove to the rest of the Premier League that Villa are here to compete with the ‘big six’. Selling your best player not only damages this, but any incoming striker would likely not be able to replicate Watkins’ form.
The Champions League is also coming up and further form from the striker could see his value increase yet again.
While Emery will no doubt have targets in mind in case the worst does happen, the club must be wary of Chelsea’s interest over the rest of the transfer window.
