Fulham close in on Diego Carlos
One of Villa’s biggest stars in the 2023/24 campaign was Carlos. The Brazilian centre-back recovered from a season-long injury to instantly impress under Unai Emery.
His performance at the Emirates was particularly outstanding as he withstood the might of their starstudded attack to earn the visitors three points.
Yet, this summer it seems as if Villa are prepared to lose their defender.
According to reports, Fulham are closing in on Carlos, with Villa open to offers. A potential replacement is Liverpool’s Joe Gomez who may come in before the window closes.
