Aston Villa are amongst a number of Premier League clubs to have shown an interest in signing Ibrahim Adel.
According to 90min, Ibrahim Adel has plenty of admirers from the Premier League this summer, with Aston Villa amongst those considering making a move for his signature. Chelsea, Brighton, Brentford, Burnley, West Ham, and Southampton are all also keeping tabs on the youngster.
The 22-year-old Egyptian has certainly caught the eye of plenty in English football. His compatriot Mohamed Salah even gave a positive report of Adel’s quality to Liverpool’s scouting department last summer.
There is no question that Adel has bags of talent, but it will be a tough task for him to make the step up to Premier League level from Egyptian club Pyramids, where he currently plies his trade.

Who is Ibrahim Adel?
Adel has been a first team regular for Pyramids since he was a teenager, and has bagged 26 goals in 108 games for the club. He has been rewarded for this impressive start to his career with 4 caps for the Egyptian national side.
As well as being highly-regarded by Salah, Adel’s playing style on the pitch is reminiscent of the Liverpool forward’s. Although he plays on the left rather than the right, Adel is like Salah in that he likes to cut inside onto his stronger foot to drive at the heart of defences and carve out shooting opportunities.
If Aston Villa can win the race for his signature at a fair price, Adel is definitely worth a punt, especially if Salah’s assessment of the player proves to be correct.
