Aston Villa are said to be looking for a way to let Philippe Coutinho leave the club before deadline day.

That is according to AS in Spain who claim that Villa’s director of football, Monchi, is trying to get rid of Coutinho.

They claim that the chief is looking to find a ‘way out’ for Coutinho prior to tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

It is believed there is interest in the Brazilian which could make a deal to leave Villa possible.

Real Betis are one European side who are keen on a move, while it has long been thought Saudi Arabian sides would take an interest too.

AS continue to report that Betis however have a ‘growing hope’ that they can sign the attacking midfielder.

However they would probably need some help paying his mammoth wages.

Betis want Coutinho

Despite Betis not being in a financial position to make a proper move, they are craving the Brazilian’s presence.

Manuel Pellegrini is believed to view the little star as a top quality player.

He is even said to think he fits the Betis system in a ‘remarkable way’.

Talks are said to be underway, however it is yet to be seen if Betis will make a move for the Brazilian.

Coutinho is somewhat in limbo now at Villa given their strong summer window.

The arrival of Nicolo Zaniolo and Moussa Diaby in attacking positions pushes him down the pecking order at the club.

Along with this the return of Jacob Ramsey likely pushes him further down so an exit seems best.
