Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis has agreed to join Italian outfit Udinese.
As reported by journalist Will Unwin, Keinan Davis is set to swap Aston Villa for Serie A, having reached an agreement with Udinese. What kind of fee may be negotiated between the two clubs remains to be seen.
Udinese are certainly in need of a new figure to lead the line, having just allowed striker Beto to join Everton in a deal worth up to £30 million.
Davis is also surplus to requirements at Aston Villa. He spent last season on loan in the Championship with Watford, and struggled to hit top form, managing just seven goals in 34 appearances.
At 25-years-old, Davis needs to move on from Villa Park on a permanent basis, having been with the Midlands club since academy level.

No room for Davis at Aston Villa
Davis has been given several opportunities to impress at Aston Villa. The forward has made 87 appearances for the club, in total, in all competitions. He as managed just 7 goals for the Villans. 34 of those outings, and just 1 of those goals, came in the Premier League.
Unai Emery has taken Aston Villa to a new level. The club are going to be competing in the Europa Conference League this season, and are still looking up in terms of the Premier League. Davis is no longer capable of effectively contributing for Aston Villa.
If this move goes through, it will be interesting to see if Davis can thrive in Serie A. He is clearly keen to take on the challenge, and it is hard to imagine that Aston Villa would stand in the way of his departure. The slightly slower pace of the game in Italy could suit the attacker well.
Davis has always given his all for Aston Villa, but now is the time for him to move on on a permanent basis.
