Aston Villa are set to include youngster Jaden Philogene in the first-team this season, ending loan possibilites.
Jaden Philogene was one of Villa’s four Championship loanees last season, along with Aaron Ramsey, Cameron Archer and Tim Iroegbunam.
All four used their loan moves in England’s second division to step up their development and experience levels.
Clearly they made an impression, with three of there four being part of Unai Emery’s squad for the preseason tour of America, with Iroegbunam injured.
The three played a role on the tour as Villa took part in the inaugural Premier League summer series campaign.
While inclusion on a preseason tour means little as to the youngsters importance, however their performances can have a lasting effect.
This has been the case with Philogene who has caught the eye of Emery while on tour.

Philogene to be included in first-team
According to Gregg Evans from The Athletic, Philogene has grasped his opportunity and caught Emery’s eye.
The young winger started all three games while in the US, only three others managed this feat.
This early signal of confidence shows the excitement internally at Villa over the attacker’s development.
Now it has been suggested that Philogene has been deemed ready for the first team at Villa Park, with a loan move ruled out.
Philogene will owe much of his development to his 37 league appearances at Cardiff last season.
The loan demonstrated to Villa that he was capable of performing on a consistent basis which put him in good stead for a return to Villa.
