Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery has opened up about his management team and coaches following the win over Middlesbrough this weekend.
It has been a great season for Aston Villa and with an FA Cup win over Middlesbrough, it has only gotten better.
Under the management of Unai Emery, the Villans are still fighting on three fronts as they look to win some silverware.
Following a Matty Cash deflected strike Villa were able to get the better of Michael Carrick and his Boro side away from home.

It did take them until the 87th minute to eventually open the scoring despite having five shots on target throughout the game, according to FotMob.
Emery’s side had more of the ball but once again struggled to combat a low block which was expertly deployed by the home side.
However the game went, Villa fans won’t care as they were able to get the goal and take their place in the next round. Following the full-time whistle, Emery was keen to praise his colleagues for the result.
Unai Emery on his coaching team’s impact
There is a large coaching team at Villa with members like set piece coach, Austin MacPhee being more recognisable.
His set-piece routines worked once again against Middlesbrough as Cash’s winner came as a result of Douglas Luiz’s corner.
According to Transfermarkt, there are nine additional coaches to Emery at Villa Park which help push Villa forward. It is safe to say that they are working together to great effect as Villa rise up the Premier League and currently sit in second place.
This success has seen many individuals such as Ollie Watkins come on leaps and bounds with the Spaniard in charge. Following the Boro win, Cash has praised the coaching staff for his improvements as a player recently.
As well as this, Emery himself has come out with praise for the team around him and the impact that they have had on him, he has been discussing this with the Birmingham Mail.
On that, he said: “I think every team are working at a high level now collectively and individually and I believe and I trust in my assistant coaches. We are doing different work and of course, we are very, very deeply analysing the details in football.”
Emery and his staff are very particular which comes across on the sidelines given how animated they are in every game. It is great to hear this kind of praise from the manager and long may things continue to get better in B6.
