Premier League legend, Alan Shearer has included Douglas Luiz, Ollie Watkins as well as Unai Emery in his official Premier League Team of the Week.
This week saw Aston Villa smash West Ham United 4-1 and as a result, there has been plenty of plaudits for the Villains.
Goals from Luiz and Watkins helped to secure Unai Emery’s side’s 12 consecutive Premier League home.
The Brazilian had a game to remember. He tested Alphonse Areola with a great effort before eventually scoring to take the lead.
After Ezri Konsa was brought down inside the box, the midfielder had a chance to convert from 12 yards, which he did with aplomb.

Ironically, in spite of his Team of the Week inclusion, his manager believed that he could have been better on the night.
Watkins scored and assisted, keeping up his cracking form which he has found over the last few weeks.
The former Newcastle man was full of praise for all the Villa men.
What has Alan Shearer said?
Creating his Team of the Week for the Premier League this week would have been difficult given the number of top performances.
The praise of Emery, on the anniversary of his joining the Villains, has been huge and doesn’t look like stopping.
On the Spaniard, Shearer said: “West Ham can be tough opponents, but Villa made light work of them. They look so dangerous, especially at home.”

His tactical plans change from game to game in spite of the formation looking relatively similar from game to game.
These changes have seen Villa defeat Brighton in similar circumstances.
Luiz loves playing at Villa Park and Sunday was no different. On his performance, Shearer said: “Two goals in a dominant display.
“He really led his team well. He’s been laying the foundations for Villa’s success this season.”
One of the most important players under Emery. His ability in front of goal and on the ball gets better each week.
On Watkins’ performance, Shearer added: “What a start to the season! His latest goal and assist won’t do his England chances any harm.”

With hopes of a seat on the plane to Germany come the summer, the Villa number 11 is doing his utmost.
Villa are in a great place and are only showing signs of improvement. With plenty of the season left to go, who knows where they could end up.
