Aston Villa continued their decent start to the seasons they beat Crystal 3-1 at Villa Park after a late comeback.
Villa have been top class this season at times and on other occasions they’ve been horrendous.
However following victory over Palace, a corner has hopefully been turned. It brought Villa to seventh on nine points, inside the European spots.
The strength of this team was shown on Saturday as three goals in 14 minutes to end the game secured the win.
A comeback which many clubs wouldn’t be capable of given the pressure that was on them.
Pau Torres was once again highly impressive for the Villa as he set a new club record in the win. Along with this he was vital in keeping Palace to one goal before the late comeback.

The record Torres set was relating to passes as his completed 117 accurately in the game according to WhoScored.
This represented the most by any Villa player in any league match since Opta data began being collected in 2009.
This just goes to show how vital he is for Unai Emery’s Villa side, pulling all the strings.
He will be pivotal if Villa are to continue improving and dominating teams in possession.
Since his arrival last summer from Villarreal, Torres has been an ever present in the Villains side leading from the back and being vital.
