Aston Villa supporters have reacted on Twitter to Leeds United being awarded Fifa’s Fair Play award.
Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds were recognised for their sportsmanship last season when they allowed Villa to equalise during their Championship encounter in April, as reported by Sky Sports.
With the game goalless, Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia went down injured, with the away team calling for the ball to be kicked out of play.

Initially, it looked as though Tyler Roberts was going to do just that, but he ended up playing on and then passing the ball to Mateusz Klich, who put the ball into the back of the net to the anger of the Villa players.
That caused heated reactions both on the pitch and on the touchline, with Bielsa demanding that his team allow Villa to equalise, which they did.
When it was announced that Leeds were handed their award, it is fair to say that some reacted with laughter because of what also occurred during that season.
Leeds were involved in a Spygate scandal with Derby County, so it’s understandable why there are some sections of fans who find Fifa’s decision to give them the award laughable.
