Sky Sports pundits praise Aston Villa man
Saturday was a great day to be a Villa fan. The Birmingham outfit finally got one over their West Midlands rivals Wolves in a 2-0 win at Villa Park.
Champions League football is now getting closer for Unai Emery’s side with another three points coming home.
Multiple first-teamers were praised for their performances against Wolves, with Ollie Watkins being highlighted by Sky Sports. Despite only playing in the first half, the striker’s hold-up play and movement were picked out as the hosts found another way to win.

Ollie Watkins – injury update

One downside from the Wolves match was sadly Watkins. After his sensational first-half display, the striker was taken off at half-time much to the dismay of fans.
This was a massive concern. The club are already without multiple key players as their injury list grows.
After the game, Emery offered clarity on the substitute explaining that Watkins felt his hamstring which resulted in him coming off.

Kaine Kesler-Hayden’s heartwarming message

There were plenty of positives from Saturday’s game. On top of the result, it was a day one Villa man will never forget.
Kaine Kesler-Hayden made his long-awaited debut for the club after graduating from the academy. The 21-year-old came off the bench late on to help see out the result.
After the game, the youngster took to Instagram stating that it was a ‘dream’ to make his debut for Villa.
