Key duo excluded from Villa’s European squad after registration

Both Tyrone Mings and Emi Buendia have been left out of Villa’s squad list for their Europa Conference League campaign.

With registration unable to be modified until January it wasn’t expected that either would be included.

Both are anticipated to miss the majority of the season after sustaining serious knee injuries in the opening exchanges of the season.

Emi Buendia suffered his injury on the eve of the new season in training, while Tyrone Mings saw his season shattered on opening day as he was stretchered off against Newcastle.

Barring a miraculous recovery to either they won’t be involved this campaign in Europe, however if they are fit by February, they could be added to the list with a maximum of three new names allowed on the list.
