Aston Villa captain, John McGinn has been discussing Unai Emery and has made an admission over the levels that the Spaniard expects in training.
McGinn has been with the Villains since 2017 and his form has coincided with the rise back up the Premier League table.
In his time at the club, the Scottish international has seen four different managers come through the door.

Emery has seen the biggest upward change since joining, taking the club from 17th to 7th in just over half a season.
With the quality of football improving by the week in B6, it is clear the Villa boss has high standards which he demands.
What has John McGinn about Unai Emery?
After having a difficult period under the previous regime at Villa Park, McGinn has rediscovered his impressive form.
So far this season, the Scotsman has started every game in the Premier League just going to show his importance.
Emery has won ten trophies in his managerial career and is ambitious that he can secure another one with Villa.
McGinn made this clear that there is ambition: “He dreams the same way we dream. He is patient when it comes to his ideas and tactics, but he is the same as us.
“He wants to win and he wants to win now. You can see that with how ambitious he is, the signings he is making.”

The Spaniard has a 61% win rate in the Midlands so far. He has turned Villa into a true European football contender.
As a result of this, the standards that are set are high in training and matches. This can see players rise to it or struggle to come up to the level.
On that point, McGinn said: “It’s up to us as players. You either get on board with it, get on the train and improve to a level where he wants to get to.
“Otherwise you’ll be shifted out and we’ve seen that already. Hopefully, I can keep improving and keep being part of that group.”
It is unclear as to who the captain is talking about but it is good to hear that the squad is kept on its toes.
