Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker has stated on Twitter that he can understand why there is interest in Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish.
The 23-year-old helped Villa reach the play-off final on Tuesday night when they beat Midlands rivals West Brom in a nervy penalty shootout.
The Mirror recently reported that Grealish’s £60 million buy-out clause in his contract will stun interested parties such as Tottenham Hotspur.

It is said that last September Grealish signed a five-year contract with his boyhood club after Spurs bulked at paying £25 million for his services last summer.
Now, Grealish will be preparing for another play-off final and he will be hoping to eradicate the nightmares of last May when they were beaten by Fulham at Wembley.
Nonetheless, former England striker Lineker sent this message about Grealish on his personal Twitter account:
These next few weeks will be big in Villa’s medium to long term future because another failure to reach the Premier League will hurt them.
Given Grealish’s talent, age, and the interest in his services, it won’t be a surprise to see him departing the club in the summer if Villa are still in the Championship.
But if they do make it then Grealish will have to play a big part in producing the goods at Wembley and ending the club’s three-year absence from England’s top-flight.
