‘Finally’… Aston Villa fans react as star receives update in EA Sports FC 24

This week has seen Aston Villa star, Leon Bailey received an update to his in-game face in EA Sports FC 24 for the first time since joining the club.

On this year’s edition of EA Sports FC 24, Aston Villa players have received some good ratings for their base statistics.

This has mainly been thanks to the performances of Unai Emery’s side last season as they secured Europa Conference League football.

Having seen many star performances against top sides like Newcastle United and Brighton, there was some great performers.

As a result, many players saw their initial FC 24 ratings increase from the previous year. This saw Emi Martinez come in as an 85 overall, the highest at the club.

New signings joined the club and became some of the best-rated players. This as Moussa Diaby and Pau Torres were given an 84 and 83 rating score. This all according to Futbin.

Another factor that fans have enjoyed is that many players have face scans. This means that the players in matches have a true likeness to them in real life. Now a Villa stalwart has had his face changed, much to the delight of fans.

Leon Bailey gets fresh EA FC 24 look

Since his move from Bayer Leverkusen, Leon Bailey has never had a look change in any FIFA or FC game title. This saw him have the same features as his time with Genk in the Belgian Pro League.

As a result of this, many fans have been clamouring for him to receive an update to his look to represent his current likeness.

In the latest update to the game this week, fans have got what they have been waiting for as Bailey’s face was changed.

Looking at this image, it is clear to see how realistic this face scan is as it looks just like Villa’s Jamaican star. This features a change to his hair and an addition of his beard, just adding to the realism of the game.

Given that it is a factor fans have waited many months and even years for, they have reacted on social media.

Even the official Aston Villa Twitter page has shown their excitement as they have thanked EA Sports for the addition. This is paired with the quote: “I used to pray for times like this.” It is clear that this has been a long time coming.
