Aston Villa extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to six games with a comfortable 3-1 win over Luton Town on Sunday afternoon, with Leon Bailey starring.
Villa took a 1-0 lead into half time, with John McGinn scoring his first Premier League goal of the season.
Moussa Diaby scored Villa’s second before a Tom Lockyer own goal added a third. Villa then scored an own goal themselves with Emi Martinez also scoring an own goal to give Luton a consolation.
One player starred again for Villa though, in Leon Bailey.
Journalist raves about star winger

Journalist John Townley was raving about Bailey in his player ratings for the Birmingham Mail, saying he is playing his ‘best football in a Villa shirt, giving him and 8 out of 10.
“Bailey is playing his best football in a Villa shirt since joining the club over two years ago. It was a surprise not to see him start this afternoon, but his impact helped Villa cruise to the win.”
Bailey stars again off the bench
The Jamaican international came on at half time for Nicolo Zaniolo, and assisted Diaby’s goal for Villa’s second.
He built off his impressive performance on Thursday evening, where he scored once and assisted two others in a man of the match display against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa Conference League, where Villa won 4-1 away from home.
It looks like Bailey is finally showing Villa exactly why they spent £30 million to buy him Bayer Leverkusen in Germany little over two years ago, signing him on £100k-a-week.
