Ollie Watkins is the most popular player on FPL

Watkins took the Premier League by storm last season. The striker netted 19 goals and collected 13 assists in the 2023/24 campaign which earned the club Champions League football.
As a result, he scored 228 points throughout the season, only behind Cole Palmer and Phil Foden.
For the new FPL season, Watkins is priced at £9 million. While that is one of the most expensive forwards on this list, it is seen as a bargain price given his recent feats.
This has caused FPL players to add Watkins to their team in droves. The striker is the most owned player on the platform at 55.9%. Following the Villa man are Alexander Isak and Palmer priced at 54.2% and 53.2% with no one else close after that.
