A former Premier League winner has returned home as he joins Aston Villa’s academy coaching team.
The good news keeps rolling out of Villa Park. Unai Emery has got the Birmingham outfit off to a stunning start.
The club currently sit fourth in the Premier League as well as top of the Champions League table.
With the feel-good factor around Villa Park continuing to remain high, the club have now brought back former favourite Marc Albrighton.
Marc Albrighton returns to Aston Villa as part of their academy coaching team

Albrighton had spent 16 years at Villa after he joined their academy when he was just eight years old.
After progressing through the ranks, he made his debut in 2009 and went on to make over 100 appearances for the Claret and Blue, scoring nine goals.
He was eventually released from his boyhood club in 2014 and went on to join Leicester City. Here, Albrighton spent the rest of his career and was fundamental to their Premier League title-winning campaign in the 2015/15 season.
Now, after retiring in the summer, he has now taken his first steps into coaching as he has returned to Villa as part of their academy coaching team.
Journalist John Percy confirmed that Albrighton will be coaching part-time in order to gain experience.
Great to see Marc Albrighton back at Aston Villa

Albrighton was a fantastic servant to Villa when he was at the club. The winger consistently gave it his all and it was a big mistake by the Claret and Blue to release him.
Now, a player who went on to have a fantastic career can help the next generation prosper in the academy.
Many youngsters will no doubt look to Albrighton as not only a player who went on to play for Villa but was part of one of the biggest sporting stories in history at Leicester.
Hopefully, this inspiration will help many of Villa’s future stars progress into top players for Emery’s side.
