Aston Villa forward, Leon Bailey has topped a list for goals and assists per 90 minutes in the Premier League so far this season.
It has been an excellent start to the season for Aston Villa and there have been many standout performers.
Since Unai Emery was named as the Villans boss, he has often opted to keep his starting XI similar where possible.
It must be said that this has been effective as Villa have gone from strength to strength during the Spaniard’s tenure.
With that being said it can be difficult for fringe players to get into the team and maintain a starting birth.
This season that man is Leon Bailey who has been superb in almost every game he has played. Often coming off the bench.

The Jamaican winger has only started two Premier League games while coming off the bench eight times.
What has been said about Leon Bailey?
It must be said that as little as Bailey has played, that hasn’t taken away from him getting amongst the goals.
In the Premier League, the man signed from Bayer Leverkusen for £35 million has six goal involvements.
According to WhoScored on Twitter, Bailey has the most goals and assists per 90 in the Premier League this season of any player to have five or more goals.
Looking at the other names on this list, what an achievement it is for the Villa man to sit atop this statistic.
With Erling Haaland being one of the best strikers in the world then Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez sitting below Bailey, it is extraordinary.
This stat does have to be taken with a pinch of salt given he has only featured in 342 Premier League minutes.
It must be said that even if that is the case, it is still very impressive and may be a sign that he needs to feature more regularly.
