Prince William ‘loses his voice’ after Aston Villa’s Champions Leauge triumph against Bayern Munich

It was no doubt another memorable night for the future king of the United Kingdom. After seeing Villa through all their ups and downs in recent years, he is now witnessing their return to the top.
Before the game, Prince William had met the members of Villa’s 1982 European Cup-winning squad.
He then went on to witness the incredible victory live from Villa Park as Duran netted the only goal.
At full-time, journalist Neil Moxley managed to get the Prince of Wales’ reaction to the result.
Here, he simply said: “I’ve lost my voice. I can’t quite believe it – 42 years…”
Aston Villa have taken a massive step towards the Champions League top-eight

While the Champions League system may have changed this season, the overall goal has not.
Reaching the knockout stages will no doubt be Emery’s aim, and now after the Bayern Munich victory, it looks increasingly possible.
If Villa reaches the top eight, they will automatically qualify for the round of 16 and will be seeded against their opponents.
Only a few weeks ago, this seemed like a pipe dream. However, after six points from a possible six, the club are in an excellent position to fulfil this dream.
The task Emery now has is to ensure that the club continues to replicate these performances throughout the season and that they do not lose their way.
