Aston Villa vs Brentford team news

Ahead of the match, Emery confirmed that Emi Martinez could be back for Brentford. The goalkeeper was forced off the pitch against Chelsea and will undergo a late assessment. 

On top of this, both Jacob Ramsey and Amadou Onana are likely to remain on the sidelines. 

For Brentford, Mathias Jensen is confirmed to be out after suffering a hamstring injury. The Villa match has also come too early for Kristoffer Ajer while Gustavo Nunes, Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey, and Josh Dasilva remain sidelined.
