BBC pundit, Garth Crooks has included John McGinn in his Team of the Week and heavily praised his performance against Fulham.
Fulham travelled to Villa Park to face Aston Villa and came away with nothing as the home side secured their 13th win in 13 games.
On the whole, Unai Emery was pleased with the performance as his side once again scored three goals at home.
The Villans have scored three or more goals in their last six Premier League home games this season.
Against the Cottagers Ollie Watkins was back on the scoresheet and captain John McGinn also got his third league goal of the season.

The Scot was on top form and as a result, saw plenty of praise come his way after the full-time whistle.
What has Garth Crooks said about John McGinn?
Following the 3-1 win, Crooks included the Villa skipper in his Team of the Week and was full of praise for the midfielder.
Writing for the BBC, Crooks said: “Of all the Aston Villa players who have been part of their success since the arrival of Unai Emery; McGinn has probably been their most consistent.
“He seldom misses a game, gives 100% every match and doesn’t seem remotely interested in being in the spotlight.”
The truth of the matter is that McGinn has been one of the stars of the show in the Villa squad for many years now.
Considering he joined the club in the Championship and stands out while chasing down the Champions League, it is a testament to him.
Continuing on, Crooks added: “He was the star of the show against a totally outclassed Fulham.”
It is safe to say that he did just that with star players like Joao Palhinha and Alex Iwobi couldn’t get near him. Even when they did he sat them down and scampered away each time.
A special performance from the captain as he continues his top-class start to the season.
