Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery has opened up about Youri Tielemans following the 3-1 win over Fulham at Villa Park.
It is now thirteen from thirteen for Aston Villa as they secured yet another home win, this time to Marco Silva’s Fulham.
A patchy performance from Unai Emery’s side but more than enough to secure a 3-1 win over the Cottagers.
An own goal from Antonee Robinson opened the scoring and set Villa on their path.
A captain’s contribution came from John McGinn as he scored a great goal from the edge of the box.
Ollie Watkins was back on the scoresheet in the Premier League for the first time since the Villains beat West Ham United.
With all that being said, plenty of fans were leaving the game discussing the man on his first Aston Villa Premier League start.

What has Unai Emery said about Youri Tielemans?
Since signing from Leicester City over the summer, Tielemans has been yet to start a Premier League game for the club.
After some great performances against AZ Alkmaar in the Conference League, Villa fans were demanding his start.
The Villains got their wish as the Belgian came in for Leon Bailey and made a great impact.
With that being said, Emery was keen to outline the reasons why fans have waited so long to see their number eight.
Speaking with the Birmingham Mail, the Spaniard has suggested it has taken some time for Tielemans to get used to life in B6.
On that, he said: “His adaptation is progressively getting better. His adaptation is as well understanding and always helping the team and the players.
“He is very honest and he knows at the beginning he wasn’t playing feeling good. Sometimes as well the adaptation in another position is a lot bit more difficult. It was not easy.”
At the beginning of the season, some fans felt that some complaints from the midfielder were unjust given his performances.
Since then he has got his head down and clearly impressed his new manager in recent weeks.
Discussing Tielemans further, Emery added: “He is working every day and he is training every day trying to understand everything.
“The players who signed in the summer, need a process and one of them is Youri Tielemans. With the quality he has and the high commitment he is showing, it is easier”
It is good to hear that the Belgian is knuckling down and adapting to life under the Spanish manager.
With his performance against Fulham, fans will be hoping to see more of Tielemans moving forward. After his first Premier League start he is set to make many more if he plays in the same fashion.
