Aston Villa have several younger players currently out on loan across various divisions.
January signing Lino Sousa is currently plying his trade with Plymouth Argyle and featured during the Pilgrims’ 3-0 loss to West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday evening.
Louie Barry was loaned out to Stockport County and enjoyed a brilliant start to life at Edgeley Park before sustaining a long-term injury.

Rico Richards is also with County, and Ben Chrisene is with Blackburn Rovers until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Another player who is spending the season away from Aston Villa is left-back Sebastian Revan.
The 20-year-old is plying his trade with Rotherham United, who are struggling at the foot of the Championship.
Nevertheless, it’s still been an excellent campaign in terms of development, with the defender featuring in 25 second-tier matches.
In fact, Revan had started the Millers’ previous ten matches.
That was until last night.
Sebastian Revan faces surprise axe from Rotherham squad
Leam Richardson’s side made the trip to Portman Road to face high-flying Ipswich Town.
It was late heartbreak for the South Yorkshire side as a 95th-minute Omari Hutchinson goal condemned the Millers to a 4-3 defeat.
Considering Revan has started the last ten matches, many would have assumed he would’ve been handed his eleventh in a row at Portman Road.
However, the defender was axed from Richardson’s starting XI. In fact, he was dismissed from the squad entirely.
There has been no explanation of why the Aston Villa loanee was missing, with an undisclosed injury potentially the cause.
Perfect loan spell for Revan
Despite not being involved against Ipswich, this has been an impressive loan for the youngster, and it’s exactly what players of his age need.
Too often, Premier League clubs wrap their youth talents in cotton wool, leaving them utterly unprepared for stepping into men’s football.
Revan also spent time on loan at League Two Grimsby before stepping up to the second tier. With nearly 2000 minutes of Championship football under his belt, he is well-set to make the step up again, potentially to a club pushing near the other end of the division.
With several exciting youngsters coming through the ranks, it’s essential for Villa to make the right loan choices to maximise their development as they step into first-team football.
