Aston Villa hold a convincing 5-0 lead over their Scottish opponents heading into the Conference League play-off second leg.

With the return clash seeing Hibernian come to Villa Park, confidence of progressing into the group stage will be high.

Unai Emery is infamously strong in European competitions and has won the Europa League on several occasions.

This will leave the Villains extremely excited to see if Emery can continue his heroics in Europe and guide Villa to a trophy.

With such a commanding lead being held ahead of the second leg, it is likely that Emery uses the game as an opportunity to rest some of his key performers to date.

Qualification should be achieved with little to no concern, so here is the side we would start against Hibernian.

Aston Villa predicted XI

One change which seems to have been forced upon Emery is Emi Martinez, who sustained a small calf injury on Sunday and should be left out here as a precaution.

Therefore, Robin Olsen should find himself in the starting berth between the posts.

Calum Chambers should come in at right-back, with Matty Cash set to be rested.

In central defence, Diego Carlos is still working his way up to match sharpness and could gain a useful 90 minutes here.

Next to him will likely be Pau Torres, to allow these two to build a relationship playing together.

Lucas Digne could be set to start, mainly due to a lack of options to come in and let him rest, with Alex Moreno unready to return.

In midfield we expect Youri Tielemans will start as he looks to force himself into the plans of Emery, we then expect Douglas Luis to be next to him.

Bertrand Traore should come in on the right, as he impressed recently and continues building match fitness.

John McGinn should then get the nod against his former side once again, with Leon Bailey on the left as Moussa Diaby gets rested.

Up front we want Ollie Watkins to get rested again, so Jhon Duran should get the nod.

Villa predicted XI: Olsen, Chambers, Carlos, Torres, Digne; Traore, Tielemans, Luiz, McGinn, Bailey; Duran.
